Amaravati: TDP alleges land grab by YSRCP leaders

Amaravati: TDP alleged that the YSRCP leaders have been trying to illegally possess about 35 acre out of 75 acre land of Leather Industries Development Corporation of AP Ltd (Lidcap) at Adiguppala village under Macherla Assembly constituency in Guntur district.

Former minister K S Jawahar, who is also member of a fact-finding committee of the party, told the media on Wednesday that he along with his team members, had tried to visit the lands but the YSRCP leaders obstructed them.

He said that the lands were already under the YSRCP leaders possession and landscaping works were in progress.

He said that it would be an injustice to the poor sections, particularly the SCs, who depended on the Lidcap for support.
