Amaravati: TDP virtual Mahanadu meet on May 27, 28

TDP is going to conduct its annual Mahanadu of over 14,000 party leaders and cadres on May 27 and 28 in virtual mode.

Amaravati: In the wake of extraordinary situation caused by Covid and lockdown, TDP is going to conduct its annual Mahanadu (mega meet) of over 14,000 party leaders and cadres on May 27 and 28 in virtual mode. Party's digital wing is busy making arrangements for the first ever such a huge meeting by a political party. The proceedings will be held from NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad.

On Day-1, the party will pay tributes to the recently deceased leaders. Later, party president N Chandrababu Naidu will address the party cadres and leaders, where he will guide them on the future activities and programmes to be undertaken for strengthening the party.

In the evening session, the party leaders will move resolutions. Though, initially party proposed to introduce at least 20 resolutions, now they will be compressed into 12 only. The discussion on resolutions will be conducted on evening sessions of first and second days. Second day morning session will be dedicated to party founder president and former chief minister late N T Rama Rao. Interestingly, for the first time Naidu is going to limit the duration of his speech to 30 minutes. He took this decision to allow other leaders to speak.

This virtual meeting will be conducted in four sessions in two days, each one with a duration of one-and-a-half hour.

Party leaders including Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Nakka Ananda Babu, Alapati Raja, P Ashok Babu and others participated in a meeting on Friday at NTR Bhavan and finalised the programme.
