Amaravati: Temple reconstruction eyewash says Panchumarti Anuradha

Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party general secretary Panchumarti Anuradha on Friday accused the YSRCP government of shedding crocodile tears on the ongoing attacks on temples after having caused disrespect to the Hindu dharma in numerous instances including appointment of a Christian as the TTD Chairman.

Anuradha asked why Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is not constructing the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Amaravati, if he had really great concern for the Hindu devotees. The CM is now enacting a high drama in the name of reconstructing various temples under the Kanaka Durga flyover though all those temples were already relocated and developed under the TDP regime.

Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader demanded that the CM immediately continue and complete the Balaji Temple works in Amaravati. Works should immediately begin on Kalyana Mandapam, Annadana Satram and silver door. All these works were stalled after Jagan Mohan Reddy became Chief Minister. Orders were issued to take up minor works also have not begun till now.

Contrary to MLA Roja's statement, the people are of the view that this was a government for the robbers, of the robbers and by the robbers. The CM himself was A1 in many cases while his party MP Vijay Sai Reddy was A2 and scores of other leaders were accused in one criminal case or another.

Anuradha said that all the family members of Jagan Reddy are practising Christians and even his wife Bharati Reddy had released videos on their religion just like his mother and his sister. It was very well known that the CM's brother-in-law is a Christian evangelist and preacher. But still, Jagan Reddy is not coming forward to admit this religion.

He is totally disrespecting the Hindu dharma by continuing YV Subba Reddy as the Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. He is in fact known to be Yehova Vincent Reddy but circulated as a Hindu in order to continue as TTD Chairman.

Alleging that YSR issued dark GO 746 reducing Seven Hills to Two Hills, Anuradha said that YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu is now spreading falsehoods on this. The YSRCP government has been resorting to attacks on the Tirumala temple with other religious propaganda going on unabated. Other religious hymns were printed on the pages 182, 183 and 184 of Gita Amruta Lahari book. No action was taken till now though it was proved.

The Satamanam Bhavati incident in SVBC channel defamed the TTD. The Ayodhya Ram Temple stone laying by the Prime Minister was not telecast by the SVBC.

Anuradha said that even Sanchaita Gajapati Raju, who was made Chairman of Simhachalam Temple overnight, was stated to have a Christian background also. The attack on Simhachalam was proof of the CM's lack of respect for the Hindu dharma, she said.
