Amaravati: TTD decides to deposit trust money in the National Banks
TTD Governing Council has taken a crucial decision of making fixed deposits in the national banks. The decision was taken on the grounds of insecurity in regional banks.
To this end, it has decided to deposit Rs.1500 crore. However, many devotees have moved to the court as the last government had deposited TTD money in private banks. Devotees objecting to the deposit of Rs 1400 crore in private banks and filed a petition in the High Court. In this backdrop, the court said the deposits should be made in the national banks.
It is known that the TTD donates large amounts every year in the form of gifts. However, the members of the governing body have unanimously decided not to deposit in regional and private banks anymore. Devotees are impressed over the decision of TTD.
