Amaravati: Endowments minister Vellampalli Srinivas said that their government was not doling out temple lands to any corporate companies or outsiders unlike the previous TDP government.

Speaking to media at YSRCP state office at Tadepalli here on Sunday, Srinivas said High Court permission was needed to sell even one cent of endowments lands. "The TDP leaders are levelling false allegations that the endowments department is using temple lands for house sites to the poor without any knowledge.

The government is not going to use any endowments lands either they belong to temples, church or any religious institution," he asserted. Stating that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had introduced a "historic" system of distributing pensions at the doorstep of the beneficiaries, he criticised TDP leaders for nitpicking in the implementation of the measure even as the entire state was happy with it.

AP Brahmin Corporation chairman Malladi Vishnu while addressing the same press conference, alleged that TDP leaders had indulged in huge corruption not sparking even temple funds or Brahmin Corporation funds.
