Amaravati : YSRCP blindly supported 3 farm Acts in Parliament says Kommareddy Pattabhi
Amaravati : TDP national spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhi on Tuesday slammed the Jagan Mohan Reddy government for betraying the farmers' interests in every issue including the highly contentious issue of the 3 agricultural laws brought by the Central government in the Parliament.
Pattabhi deplored that the Jagan regime had blindly supported the three laws in the Parliament but now extended support to the nationwide agitation against the bills. From the beginning, the YSRCP was not sticking to one policy or one ideology with the Chief Minister continuing his misrule based on lies, falsehoods and betrayals.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP leader advised YSRCP Minister Kanna Babu to stop spreading misinformation against the Opposition and start accepting their government's helplessness in view of the assets cases pending against the Chief Minister.
Pattabhi asked the YSRCP ministers and MLAs to recall how their party MPs had supported and defended the farm bills in the Parliament. It had become a ritual for the YSRCP to make one statement in Delhi and exactly a contradictory statement in Andhra Pradesh. The farmers were not so innocent to believe in the latest support from the YSRCP. The State voters had lost their confidence and trust in Jagan's leadership within 18 months of his rule.
The TDP leader said that after supporting the bills in the Parliament, the Chief Minister, the YSRCP ministers and MPs were shedding crocodile tears now. The YSRCP should apologise to the farmers' associations before supporting their agitation which had picked up momentum now.
Pattabhi deplored that the Jagan government was failing in all emergency situations like the cyclones, floods, heavy rains, coronavirus, etc. This regime had deliberately started betraying the farmers from day one in all respects including the Amaravati capital city.
