An Astrologer dupes a young woman of a huge sum of money in Vijayawada

A case has been registered at the Krishnalanka Police Station where a woman was robbed a huge amount of money. According to CI, Sai Priyanka (25) is living with her mother in Ayodhya Nagar after the death of her father. Sai Priyanka who is desperately trying for a knot, has consulted a priest on the advice of locals to get rid of any unnatural elements regarding her Astrology, Fraud, Vijayawada, Cheating,.

In this regard, the mother-daughter duo had met an astrologer who resided at the old Post Office Road and told him about the problem. After examining her horoscope, he said that there were many disturbances and that special prayers had to be done to avoid any unnatural elements. To this end, on September 23, she offered Rs 50000 to priest and held prayers. Later the priest took her along with Rs 2.85 lakh for special prayers at Ammavari temple in the state of Tamil Nadu. He asked to donate the money to three women of about Rs. 70,000 who are the members of his Ashram.

The young woman was asked for yet another one lakh rupees by the priest for which she showed him empty hands. However, the priest didn't leave her took her signatures on the promissory note and cheques on the pretext of lending her money. Since then, he fled from the woman. Upon knowing she was cheated, she complained to Krishnanka police on Saturday. The police have filed the case and said the probe is on.
