Anantapur: Case filed against JC Prabhakar Reddy over fight between two groups in Tadipatri
The police have given a rude shock to the former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy where an atrocity case has been registered against him and others. Cases have been filed under sections 307 of the SC and ST against JC Prabhakar Reddy and others over the clashes between the TDP and YSRCP cadre. Also, a case has been registered against a person named Valli who caused the clash by posting on social media against the YSRCP-TDP community. Police are working to identify the two groups who threw stones each other and section 144 is being enforced in Tadipatri. The Police have been deployed in huge number.
Tensions were high in Tadipatri in Anantapur district on Thursday. There was a war between the MLA Peddareddy and JC Prabhakar Reddy groups. YSRCP MLA Kethireddy Pedda Reddy went straight to JC's house in anger that he had posted against his wife on social media. He was incensed at JCs followers for making false accusations against him.
Knowing that Pedda Reddy had arrived, the JC Prabhakar Reddy's followers and some others reached there, which created a tense atmosphere there with two groups pelted stones near Prabhakar Reddy's house. Police immediately rushed to the scene. It is noteworthy that the two factions clashed regardless. Former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy came to Tadipatri after learning about this. Police were heavily deployed in Tadipatri in the wake of these developments.
