Anantapur Court rejects JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmith Reddy's bail petition
The Anantapur court on Thursday rejected the bail plea of former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmith, who were arrested in the forgery case pertaining to Diwakar travels company. Moreover, JC Prabhakar Reddy and Asmith Reddy were granted two days police custody.
PT warrants have been filed in five other cases against the duo while Chavva Gopal Reddy, the main follower of JC Diwaker Reddy, has been questioned by police over the illegal registration of 154 buses and lorries.
Meanwhile, the magistrate has imposed a 14-day remand to A2 JC Prabhakar Reddy and A 6 JC Asmith Reddy on the 13th of this month in connection with a case filed over obtaining NOC with a fake police clearance certificate. In this order, they were taken to the Kadapa Prison by the I town Police.
The bail application was filed on Monday by JC Prabhakar Reddy and JC Asmith Reddy. However, the bail plea was rejected by the court today.
