Anantapur: Lay quality roads Collector M Gauthami tells Roads and Buildings engineers

Anantapur : District Collector M Gauthami has advised Roads and Buildings engineers to develop roads coupled with beautification works to present them as models of development.

Addressing a review meeting at her chambers, Gauthami said that we should be a role model of development to others.

In addition to laying quality roads, she said that main junctions at any given place should be beautified so as to give value addition to works implemented.

She assured to speed up land acquisition for national highway projects and called upon departments concerned to restore the dugup roads to their original position, once their departmental works implementation is completed. One should not damage the already laid roads which are in good condition. Inter-departmental cooperation and coordination was required, she added.

R&B superintendent engineer Obula Reddy and National Highways Authority officials were present.
