Anantapur: Sai Akhanda Bhajan concludes at Puttaparthi
Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Prasanthi Nilayam's marathon spiritual sadhana with the call for universal peace and harmony, Global Akhanda Bhajan 2020, concluded here late on Sunday night.
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai has always preached to humanity. At a time when the pandemic threat and its after-effects of social distancing are prevalent all over, Prasanthi Nilayam is marching ahead joyously embracing the call of the Divine Birthday that is coming up just after a week. Come the second Saturday in November, it is time for Global Akhanda Bhajan.
Ever since its inception over a quarter century ago, at Bhagawan's 'direct' instance, this spiritual sadhana of intonation for universal peace has been a fixed schedule in the Prasanthi festive calendar for the 'Month of His Advent', according to a press release from Satya Sai Trustee R J Ratnakar.
Sri Sathya Sai centres in India and the world around year after year join the marathon sadhana round-the-clock, based on the respective time zones. This year with pandemic restrictions, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Akhanda Bhajan took a new dimension of 'Unity In Diversity', virtually connecting the world around, over the internet.
Apart from the livestreaming world over, many Sri Sathya Sai Centres and devotees' homes joined the unique sadhana, following respective time zones. The Sri Sathya Sai Global Akhanda Bhajan is aimed at universal peace and harmony, the statement said.
