Anantapur: SBI employee set on fire, dies in Dharmavaram

In a shocking incident that took place in Dharmavaram mandal of Anantapur district, the young man along with his friends brutally murdered his girlfriend and set the body ablaze. According to police, Snehalatha is a contract employee of State Bank of India (SBI) in Dharmavaram. She went to the bank on Tuesday morning as usual but did not return home. Snehalatha's parents lodged a complaint at the Anantapur One Town Police Station.

Meanwhile, police found Snehalatha's body at Dharmavaram Mandal Badannapally on Wednesday morning. Snehalatha's parents allege that Rajesh and Karthik killed their daughter. The couple had long complained to police that they had been harassing their daughter under the pretext of love.

Dharmavaram police have registered a case on the incident and have launched a comprehensive investigation.
