Anantha may be nominated as MP

Anantapur: The sudden death of YS Vivekananda Reddy on Friday casts its shadow on YSRCP and fears are being expressed that the party's plan to release its first list on Saturday at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district might be postponed further. Also, Anantha Venkatarami Reddy's candidature for Anantapur constituency is under cloud as another name Mahalakshmi Srinivas has come to the fore for the Anantapur seat.

Party sources say that Anantha may be nominated for MP ticket, but the final decision will be made known on Saturday by party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. For Penukonda, the party is thinking in terms of fielding a BC Candidate while in Hindupur one from minority community Abdul Ghani and from Madakasira, an SC candidate would be fielded as it is reserved for SC community.
