Andhra government to provide free borewells to the farmers during Kharif

Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given yet another good news to the farmers of the state. It has decided to lay free bore well to the farmers for this Kharif season. He said the government is doing more than promised for the farmers. Meanwhile, the YSRCP government has conducted a brainstorming session under 'Mana Paalana-Mee Suchana' program with the farmers on Tuesday at the camp office and interacted with the farmers on agriculture and allied sectors. The event runs from May 25th to May 30th to review the performance of the government.
CM Jagan said that Janata Bazars will be set up in villages by the end of next year. He also said the government would buy 30 per cent of the crops grown by the farmers and will be sold through Janata Bazaars. He assured of setting up of labs and kiosks at RBKs to bring revolutionized changes to eliminate the broker system.
"Farmers will benefit if the cost of harvesting the crops can be reduced and are considering how to protect farmers when natural disasters occur, " Jagan said. Agriculture is profitable only when the harvest is available at less cost. "Despite promising Rs. 12500, we have increased to Rs 13500 under Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan, " Jagan said.
