The Andhra Pradesh government has given good news to the devotees of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy. The government expressed its willingness to start the darshan at TTD. To this extent, the Jagan Sarkar, who responded to the letter written by EO Anil Kumar Singhal gave the green signal. The order was issued by Special Secretary to the Government JSV Prasad in this backdrop.

However, earlier TTD has suggested conducting a trial run with employees and locals. He said measures should be taken to ensure that the physical distance between one devotee and another is six feet.

Meanwhile, TTD is embroiled in another controversy. BJP leaders protested against the story written by TTD with distorted facts over Ramayana in the TVT Sapthagiri magazine. Devotees and BJP leaders are angry at TTD for publishing articles that distort the Valmiki Ramayana without consideration.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh has reported 82 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 3200 on Tuesday. As per the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Tuesday, Currently, there are 927 active cases and as many as 2209 have got recovered and discharged on Monday.
