Andhra government to disburse Rs. 10,000 to Vizag gas leak victims at affected villages today
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government, which has been in the process of providing relief to victims of the Visakhapatnam gas leak has disbursed one crore to each deceased family. Meanwhile, Minister of Botsa Satyanarayana said that the government will disburse Rs. 10,000 to each for the people resided in the surrounding parts of LG polymers company. As promised by CM Jagan, many children, adults and elderly the village would be deposited with Rs. 10,000 in the homeowner's account.
Volunteers are conducting a home survey of the gas leak affected villages, the minister said. On the other hand, five medical teams have been set up for the health of the people in the five villages; about 90 percent of people have reached their villages after the gas leak who are being provided food and water. The government said that People should not worry and assured of is taking all measures to minimize the problems.
Meanwhile, the people of the affected villages are seeking medical services for the next year. Hence minister Kanna Babu asserted that the victims be given health cards by which they be treated at KGH hospital for any number of times. He also explained that a committee of medical experts would be set up with 10 doctors and special health cards be given to the people in the affected areas.
