Andhra Minister Perni Nani clarifies on APSRTC services, here is what he has to say
Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister's Perni Nani gave Clarity on the reopening of APSRTC bus services in the state. He said that the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take a decision on the public transport system soon, which would be followed by the corporation. However, he made clear that the APSRTC has made all arrangements to run the services. He said that the services begin after the government gives a green signal.
The minister said that all the arrangements have been made to operate the buses between the states and the interstate. "Since the lockdown is in force, we would operate buses according to the central regulations and changed the seating arrangement to maintain physical distancing, " Nani said. He said that the marking system is being implemented in the buses with proper precautions against the spread of corona.
On the other hand, the Minister has already given clarity that no outsourcing employee was fired from the RTC. He alleged it as false propaganda and claimed that the employees who don't have corona insurance were asked to stay at home. Otherwise, there is no truth in employees layoffs.
