Andhra Pradesh: 30 injured after a bus turtles in Jaggaiahpet

In a ghastly incident, a private travels bus overturned at Anumanchipalli in Jaggaiahpet mandal of Krishna district. More than 30 passengers were injured in the crash. All the victims were rushed to Jaggaiahpet Government Hospital for treatment. However, there were 50 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. The incident took place while the bus was traveling from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad.

Government Whip and Jaggaiahpet MLA Samineni Udaya Bhanu, who received information about the accident, visited the injured and asked for details on the accident and found out. The victims were identified as belonging to Visakhapatnam and Odisha.

Speaking on the occasion, Udaya Bhanu said that the driver did not even have the slightest information on how many people were traveling in the bus and names and details of the passengers were not there. He said the lives of the people are important to him and the government would take strict action against private travels that run against the rules.
