Andhra Pradesh: Couple dies and son injures in a road accident in East Godavari
In a ghastly road accident, a couple was killed at the Annavaram National Highway in East Godavari district on Sunday while their three-year-old son is being treated in a hospital due to serious injuries. Going into details, Mohammad Kareem 30 of Rajahmundry, has been living in Tuni for ten years and working at Deccan Chemicals in Rajavaram of Visakhapatnam district. He was married in 2014 to Arish Komal (26) from Kakinada and has a three year old son, Karimullah Shah Qadir.
They all came to Rajahmundry on the first day of the New Year and was returning to Tuni on a two-wheeler on Sunday. In this backdrop, they were involved in an accident on a nearby national highway. Along with Kareem his wife and son were seriously injured in the incident. Kareem died just minutes before the 108 vehicle arrived while his wife and son were rushed to hospital. However, Komal died on arrival at the hospital. Karimulla Shah is currently recovering.
Nagam Gangababu and others from Thondagi are coming behind the couple's bike. The couple fell on the road immediately after the accident. The boy was pulled out by locals who noticed him lying in nearby trees. Doctors said the boy had to undergo a CT Scan while being rushed to a local hospital. With this, SI Srinivasa Kumar took the boy in his vehicle, scanned him at a private center and then shifted him to Kakinada Government Hospital.
