Andhra Pradesh gets new Intelligence Chief in the wake of IPS' transfers
Manish Kumar Sinha has been appointed as the new Intelligence Chief of Andhra Pradesh. The government transferred several IPSs on Wednesday. Sinha has been replaced by Vishwajit, who is currently the chief of intelligence. Manish Kumar is an IPS officer of the 2000 batch. He will be taking over the charge soon.
AB Venkateswara Rao, who was the Chief of Intelligence during the AP election, was abolished by the Election Commission. The government has made some changes with Sinha. Aishwarya Rastogi, who is now Nellore SP, has been appointed as AIG by the Admin Division at the DGP office. Bhaskar Bhushan was appointed as Nellore SP. TA Tripathi was transferred to the General Administration Department.
