Andhra Pradesh Government decides to establish Medical College in Pulivendula

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a nod for the establishment of a Government Medical College at YSR Kadapa district. It was expected to lay the foundation in December.

It is also suggested that development proposals should be prepared for the Pulivendula sculpture with a cost of Rs 10 crore.

The chief minister on Wednesday conducted a review on the Pulivendula Area Development Agency (PADA). It has been decided to set up a 132 kV substation at Nallacheruvupally in Vemula Mandalam.

Chief Minister said that 11 basic health centers in Pulivendula constituency, Pulivendula area hospital and Vempalli CHC would be provided with Rs 30 crore infrastructure. The meeting also decided on various development works within the PADA.
