Andhra Pradesh Government Making Preparations To Implement Judicial Preview

It is a known fact that the government has set up Judicial Preview of the tenders in the state to ensure that the process of the tender process is transparently maintained. It is learned that the state government has brought AP infrastructure bill and assigned judicial scrutiny of tenders to High Court Judge B. Sivashankara Rao.

Against this backdrop, Justice B. Sivashankar Rao and the state's general Secretary, LV Subramanyam focused on the preparations for the judicial review process.

As part of this, the Secretary has conducted a review with heads of Departments and asked them to furnish all the relevant documents and materials to the Judicial Preview Judge.

According to the Judicial preview Act, the state agencies or local authority of the state has to submit Rs. 100 crores. Once the Judicial Preview is reviewed, there is no need to go to the Prebid Negotiations in the relevant tender process.
