Andhra Pradesh Government to distribute 30 lakh house sites on July 8 said Botcha Satyanarayana
Guntur: Minister for Municipal Administration Botcha Satyanarayana said the State government will distribute 30 lakh house site pattas to the homeless poor on July 8, on the occasion of birth anniversary of late chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the government was making arrangements to distribute house site pattas in a big way.
He came to Guntur city to see house sites at Vengalayapalem near Guntur city and Chilakaluripet in the district. He said that houses will be allotted to 3,240 beneficiaries at Vengalayapalem housing complex. He directed the officials to complete incomplete house sites at the earliest and provide necessary facilities. He said each 430 square yards house costs 4.65 lakh and cost of 365 square feet house is Rs 3.65 lakh.
He said the government will bear the cost of 300 square feet house and give it to the beneficiaries free of cost and for 430, 365 square feet houses the government will fix the cost through reverse tendering. He said, the houses in Guntur East, West and Prattipadu Assembly constituencies will be allotted with the consent of Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita and beneficiaries. He said houses allotment letters will be given to the beneficiaries on July 8. The auction of PVK Naidu Vegetable Market site was cancelled and assured that the government will develop the market.
