Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan remembers makers of Indian Constitution

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan greeted people on the eve of the Constitution Day, commemorating the adoption of the Indian Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949.

In a message, the Governor said the 'Constitution Day' also known as 'Samvidhan Diwas' reminds us of our duty to ensure equality before law and equal protection of the law to every citizen of the country as enshrined in the Constitution and unfettered access to the legal system to the poorest of the poor. He said the Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, Freedom of Speech and Expression guaranteed under the Constitution also cast a responsibility on every citizen of the country to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the country and safeguard the interests of the nation.

He said it is befitting to remember the contributions made by Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution and other founding fathers, in framing the Constitution and to pay our tributes to them on this occasion, for giving us the best Constitution in the world.
