Andhra Pradesh govt gives a nod for re-survey of lands

The Andhra Pradesh government has given the green signal for the resurvey of lands across the state. The government has directed the government to allocate the Bhudhar number to each land bit likewise the Aadhaar (Distinguished Identification Number) number to resettle the land with advanced Continuous Operating Reference Stations (KARS) technology.

Revenue Chief Secretary Usha Rani issued the GO on Tuesday. The Survey Settlement Director has urged the government to release Rs 200.15 crore from the budget for Reserve Project in Krishna District Jaggaiahpet as a pilot project under this technology. He also requested permission to procure some equipment.

The funds should be released for the Phase-1 and Phase-2 of 65 Base Stations and Control Centers. The director of the survey asked the administration to procure the 11,158 Rovers, which was sanctioned by the government. The Commission ordered that the research work be undertaken without any defect in the measurements, at the lowest cost possible.

The Government is preparing to put a full stop to land disputes by conducting resurvey to sort out the permanent solution.
