Andhra Pradesh govt increases age limit for the recruitment in the health department

Despite the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic is taking a big toll on the state, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government has provided good news for the unemployed in the state. As the Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to recruit the posts in the health sector. As part of these appointments, the health secretary Jawahar Reddy issued a notice extending the age limit of general candidates from 34 to 42 years. The government has announced a 15 per cent weightage in the recruitment of civil and dental assistant surgeons to those who have completed 3 years of service in 104 vehicles and CM health centres.

The government has decided to give grace marks to tribal area candidates with three marks per year, one mark for rural areas, and two marks for urban areas. In the latest released GO, the state government has announced that five marks will be given as grace in the appointment of assistant professor to those who studied in the Central Institute of India.

A notification has been issued for the recruitment of 665 civil assistant posts in primary health centres under the Public Health Department. Applications for these posts will be received from the 19th of this month to the 18th of next month.
