The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has initiated the Dharmaporatam in the name of the Center's injustice. On February 11 this year, under the auspices of Chandrababu, a one-day 'Dharma Porata Deeksha' was held in Delhi.

However, Rs. 10 crores were spent for the program. A man named Vetukuri Suryanarayanaraju of the East Godavari district filed a PIL petition in the High Court. The High Court on Thursday heard this and was surprised at the cost.

During the hearing on the PIL, the petitioner's advocate argued that the TDP party had taken this initiative for the benefit of it and that it was a gross misuse of public funds. The High Court has questioned who is the officer issued the GO for allocating ten crores and under what conditions.

Asked what the expenditure on such a huge scale, the high court issued notices to the government to put the full details before them. The next hearing is set for November 21
