Andhra Pradesh: Intermediate student ends life in Kadapa

First-Year intermediate students committed suicide by falling under a train here at Kadapa.

Harshavarshan, who is pursuing intermediate at Narayana college at NGO colony is learned to be in depression for some time and was found dead on a railway track near RIMS on Friday night. The incident came to light on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the parents of Harshavardhan said that their son had committed suicide due to the alleged torture by the lecturers. Jairam, father of the deceased said that his son was confronted before his classmates by the AGM and lecturers.

Depressed over it, he ended his life, said Jairam adding that he came to know his son's death through a Whatsapp message. The police registered a case and took up investigation.
