In Andhra Pradesh, there is a heated debate around the topic of capital. The government has appointed a committee to discuss capital development as well as state development. The committee is currently touring several areas. The YCP Government and Minister Botsa Satyanarayana have repeatedly said that building large buildings in the existing space is a costly task. Experts also found that the land was very loose. Meanwhile, the BJP leader and MP TG Venkatesh once again made interesting comments on the capital.

TG Venkatesh opined that the state of Andhra Pradesh needed three capitals then only Rayalaseema would develop. Addressing a rally in Kurnool on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanthi on Thursday, he said that the BJP was committed to the Rayalaseema declaration.

Amravati is now the capital of the namesake, but there are no jobs for the Rayalaseema residents. TG opines that three regions .. Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra and Uttarakhand need capitals. Despite having rivers across the Rayalaseema, there is scarcity drinking water. He urged that the waters of Krishna and Tungabhadra belong to Rayalaseema.
