BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao said that the new agricultural laws brought by the centre were revolutionary and none of the farmers would be affected by this. On Sunday, he told the media that he would hear suggestions on new agricultural laws, but would not back down. He said the lives of farmers would have been improved if these laws had been introduced 30, 40 years ago.

"We have taken the views of intellectuals and experts in the formulation of laws. Some are creating myths and concerns about the laws. Under the new laws, farmers can sell their produce outside the market yard. There is no need to limit to the market yards, " GVL said. He said some are propagating lies that there will be no minimum support price due to the new agricultural laws and advised that not to believe such rumours. "If there are any misconceptions among the farmers, we are holding meetings to clear them up, "explained MP GVL Narasimha Rao.

BJP AP president Somu Veerraju said that many people are turning to agriculture as a trend and doing organic farming. "The bill states that there will be agreements with the farmer on the crops to be harvested and that the farmer's land is safe; agricultural yield cost and payments will be made as per the agreement. The debate over these laws has been going on for two decades," Somu Veerraju.

He said that after many discussions and ideas, Prime Minister Modi brought these laws and suggested that farmers should get awareness on organic farming practices.
