Andhra Pradesh: Pensioners to receive deferred pay in two Installments from December

YSRCP government headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has provided good news to the pensioners. It has decided to pay the fifty per cent salary, which was deducted in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak for the months of April and May. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has already given assurances.

Recently, Andhra Pradesh JAC Amaravati chairman Boparaju Venkateswarlu said that Additional Secretary to the State Finance Ministry Satyanarayana had agreed to disburse the amount in two installments. He also explained that the first instalment will be paid along with the pension amount to be released on December 1.

On the other hand, it is known that the AP government has issued orders on DA hike for state government employees. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also agreed. It said it was increasing the drought allowance to 3.144 per cent, which was increased in July 2018.

With this, the drought allowance for them has increased from 27.248 to 30.392. At this juncture, the government agreed to pay the amount of the pension money which had been reduced.
