Andhra Pradesh police have once again received accolades for the best use of technology. The AP Police Department has won five of the 18 awards announced by the Scotch Group on the use of technology. This is the third time in a month that Andhra Pradesh Police Department has bagged a major award at the national level.

The AP Police Department bagged silver medals for Project Tata and Cyber ​​Mitra (Women Safety) in the awards announced today. Apart from these, it has won five Scotch awards in the categories of Offender Search, Women Safety (Vizinagaram District), Suvidha (Anantapur), Project Tata (Prakasam District).

The Andhra Pradesh Police Department has also a credit of creating a new history by winning 108 awards at the national level in a span of 11 months. So far the police department has won two gold and 13 silver medals. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and DGP Gautam Sawang lauded the staff for providing better services to the people using the latest technology available.
