Andhra Pradesh reports 477 new Coronavirus cases and five deaths, tally moves to 8929

Coronavirus Cases In Andhra Pradesh: As many as 477 Coronavirus cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to 8929 cases in the state on Sunday. According to the media health bulletin released by the state nodal officer on Sunday, the health department has conducted tests for 24,451 samples in the past 24 hours, which amasses to cumulative of more than 6.5 lakh samples. The media health bulletin states that 151 persons were recovered on Friday while the total active cases stands at 4516 and the recovered cases at 4307.

On the other hand, five more deaths with three in Krishna district and one each in Kurnool and Chittoor have been registered taking the total toll to 106 on Sunday.

Meanwhile, among the total cases reported on Friday, the cases related to the foreign returnees are 330 with 278 active cases and 52 discharges till today while the migrant returnees cases stands at 1540 leaving 639 in active status and 901 discharges till today. This time the government has released the district-wise data and the migrant returnees details as to from which state they had come.
