Andhra Pradesh reports 98 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths, tally moves to 3042
Andhra Pradesh has registered 98 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 3042 on Sunday along with two deaths one each in Krishna and Chittoor districts, which amasses the death toll to 62 till Sunday.
According to state health bulletin released by the government on Sunday, as many as 845 coronavirus patients are in hospital undergoing treatment while 2135 have been discharged. The health department as conducted 9370 tests for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours and while 43 have been discharged.
The health department also reported 111 cumulative Covid-19 positive cases from foreign returnees. All these cases are active. While the cumulative cases from other states 418 have tested coronavirus positive on Sunday.
The state nodal officer has stopped reporting the district-wise covid-19 data. Meanwhile, the state is easing the lockdown despite the increase in cases.
