Andhra Pradesh reports 998 new COVID-19 cases taking tally to 18,697
As per the latest media health bulletin released by the state nodal officer on Sunday, 998 new Coronavirus cases reported in the last twenty-four hours in Andhra Pradesh taking the tally to 18,697 out of 20,567 samples tested.
The cases include 961 local cases, 36 migrants, and 1 foreigner. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, the state reported thirteen deaths in the state taking the total fatalities in the state to 232 and the recovery number stands at 8422 along with 391 patients getting discharged from the hospitals in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, the active cases stands at 10,043 active cases in Andhra Pradesh. Also Read - Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal appeals to cured Covid patients to donate plasma Going by the district wise date, Anantapur district recorded 149, cases in the last 24 hours followed by Prakasam 136, Kurnool 116, East Godavari 56, Guntur 80, Kadapa 101.
