Andhra Pradesh: Srikalahasti temple to begin darshans from Monday
It is a known fact that the government of Andhra Pradesh has granted permission for the resumption of temples from 8th of this month. However, it has postponed the situation at Srikalahasti. While in the latest development, the authorities have made arrangements to commence the darshans at Srikalahasti from Monday morning i.e June 15. Temple officials, staff and media representatives were given the opportunity for the first two days of the visit as part of trial run and the common devotees were allowed to visit from Wednesday. However, the devotees are entitled to meet certain conditions.
Temple EO Chandrasekhar Reddy said that from Monday, Srikalahasti will be allowing devotees for darshans. However, only the temple staff and media representatives are allowed. He made it clear that the darshans would be allowed to visit the devotees from Wednesday. Also, the rituals of Rahu ketu, which are specially organized in Srikalahasti, would be conducted in a grand manner. Devotees from the temple have made various suggestions.
Here are the guidelines to be met while darshans
1) The temple will remain open from 6 am to 6 pm.
2) It is said that Prasadams and laddu will be distributed accordingly.
3) Anybody from other states could come for darshans.
4) There is no permission for the elderly, disabled and young children.
5) The devotees are required to wear masks and practice physical distancing.
