Andhra Pradesh: Teacher transfer web options extended one more time
Amaravati: Defending the decision of blocking some teacher posts in the web options, minister for education Audimulapu Suresh said here on Thursday that if there was no blocking the teacher posts in the remote areas would remain vacant forever.
He announced that the web options would be available till the midnight of Friday. Anyway, the web options were one hundred per cent success, he said congratulating the teachers for choosing the web option.
The transfer orders would be issued after December 19 once the web options work was completed.
The minister hoped that the rest of the teachers who are yet to use the option would utilise it by the midnight of Friday.
Referring to the blocking of some posts, he said that the 10,918 posts in the 5,725 schools in the remote areas throughout the state would remain vacant if the posts were not blocked which would result in closure of those schools. Keeping in view the problem, 16,000 posts were blocked, he pointed out.
The minister said that the dates for the conduct of EAMCET would be announced soon. He also said that the fee structure for engineering colleges would be decided soon.
He warned the engineering colleges that their recognition would be cancelled if they did not follow the regulations.
