Andhra Pradesh: War of Supremacy leading to murder politics in Jammalamadugu

Kadapa: Even after efforts made by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy infilling political gap between Jammalamadugu MLA M. Sudheer Reddy, former MLA and former minister P. Ramasubba Reddy did not yield any fruitful results instead it was leading to murder politics in the constituency.

The murder of YSR Congress party activist U. Gurava Reddy by his rival group in the same party for petty reason on 13th November witnessed the intensity of the situation.

One side chief minister is taking pains for eradicating faction feuds in Jammalamadugu by implementing various developmental activities like increasing water storage capacity of Gandikota reservoir, and establishment of AP High-Grade Steel Plant, other related industries in Jammalamadigu constituency on other side war for achieving supremacy between MLA former MLA making the future of Jammalamadugu questionable a party senior leader told Hans India.

On the occassion of last rites held to the deceased held Saturday in P. Ananthapuram village of which Ramasubba Reddy attended it was appeared like fire covered with ash as the follower asked former MLA to permit them to go ahead of retaliation.

It may be recalled that P. Ramasubba Reddy who was unsuccessfully contested on TDP ticket against YSR Congress nominee M. Sudheer Reddy from Jammalamadugu constituency 2019 general elections. Later he joined YCP due political reasons against the wishes of MLA Sudheer Reddy leads formation of verticle line in the party.

This situation reasoned to witnessing cold war between the two leaders development almost stalled in the constituency.

During the recent visit of chief minister in the district it was clearly indicated as the duo have lodged complained on each other over several issues.
