In a shocking incident, the wife commits suicide after being allegedly harassed by the husband. The incident, which took place in the Yemmiganuru area, caused a stir locally. According to the police, Sunkappa from Pedda Thumbalam village and Sujatha from the same area fell in love for five years and got married against the wishes of the elders. Sunkappa works as a gang man at Tungabhadra Dam railway station.

They also have three children. Recently clashes broke out in their life. Along with Sunkappa, their parents and son-in-law started harassing Sujatha. Unbearable Sujatha has left to her parents home. After a few days, her parents corrected her and sent her back to her in-laws. However, the harassment did not stop.

Sunkappa, who went on duty yesterday, clashed with Sujatha again. Offended by this, she left the children and went out. Sunkappa immediately called his in-laws and told them about this. They searched together but did not find Sujatha and later lodged a complaint at the police station. Meanwhile, the body was found in an LLC near the Yemmiganuru fire station. Those who went to wash clothes noticed and informed the police.

Family members who reached the spot and examined the body identified it as Sujatha. The police registered a case and shifted the body to a hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered against Sunkappa's family members and further investigation is underway.
