Andhra Pradesh: Young man allegedly stabbed to death in Nellore, police starts the probe

A young man was recently engaged and all set to be married was brutally murdered on the road in the middle of the night. The families of the victims were plunged into mourning. The incident took place around midnight on Sunday near the city's current office centre. According to police, Mallireddy Srinivas Reddy and Sankaramma are staying at Vikram Nagar Chamundeshwari Apartment Plot No. 301 in the city. He earns his living by doing a contract job in a municipal corporation. His first wife Sitaravamma died a long time ago. They have two children. After the death of his first wife he married Sankaramma. Their son Ravindranath Reddy (25) completed his B.Tech in Chennai and has been working as a loan agent for the Federal Bank in Sangam for two years.

Ravindranath Reddy was engaged to be married to a young woman from Harnathpur last month. The wedding is set to take place on January 8th. Appropriate arrangements are being made by the family. On the 4th of this month Ravindranath Reddy left the house saying that there was an office meeting in Vijayawada. He has been talking on the phone ever since. On the evening of the 6th, he called home and told his family that he was coming home from Vijayawada around 11.30 pm and said that he was near Nellore and that the bus would get off shortly. Family members waited for him.
