Andhra Pradesh: YS Jagan participates in Christmas celebrations in Pulivendula

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in Christmas special prayers at CSI Church in Pulivendula on Friday morning along with wife YS Bharathi and YSRCP Honorary President YS Vijayamma. After the prayers, Chief Minister YS Jagan said, "It is good that Vaikuntha Ekadashi is coming together with Christmas; today we are distributing over 30 lakh house deeds.

He said he was sad that he could not launch the program of distribution of house site pattas the poor in Pulivendula. He said that someone went to court yesterday and brought stay over the distribution of pattas. The High Court stayed the order that APIIC lands should not be given to the poor. "If industries come on APIIC lands there should be houses for the people working there, hence we are giving houses to the poor there," YS Jagan said. The chief minister said that the government will move Supreme Court and distribute house site pattas to the poor.

"We will soon give house deeds to the people of Pulivendula as well, " he said. The Chief Minister will then proceed to Kadapa Airport from Bakarapuram Helipad at 11.20 am and arrive at Rajahmundry on a special flight from Kadapa and reach East Godavari to launch the scheme.
