Annavaram temple to be closed on June 21

Kakinada: The famous Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple at Annavaram will remain closed in view of solar eclipse on June 21. The solar eclipse will be seen from 10.18 am to 1.54 pm.

Annavaram Devasthanam Executive Officer Vendra Trinatha Rao told 'The Hans India' here on Monday that the temple will be reopened after the purification rituals from 5 pm to 7 pm.

In the evening (4.30 pm) devotees will perform Satyanarana Swamy Vratams, Kalyanams, Ayush homam and others at Kanaka Durga temple, he said.
