Annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala from Sept 30 to Oct 8
Tirupati: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara temple at Tirumala will be conducted from September 30 to October 8 with majestic Vahana Sevas of the Lord both in the mornings and evenings for nine days.
The religious fete which is popular nationwide will start with Dhwajarohanam on September 30 and would conclude with Chakrasnanam on October 8.
According to TTD sources, the schedule of Vahana Sevas to be held daily during the Utsavam is as follows: September 30 evening - Pedda Sesha Vahanam, October 1 - Chinna Sesha Vahanam and Hamsa Vahanam, October 2 - Simha Vahanam and Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam, October 3 -Kalpavruksha Vahanam and Sarva Bhupala Vahanam, October 4 - Mohini Avataram and Garuda Vahanam, October 5 - Hanumanta Vahanam, Swarna Ratham and Gaja Vahanam, October 6 - Surya Prabha Vahanam and Chandra Prabha Vahanam, October 7 - Rathotsavam and Aswa Vahanam, October 8 - Chakra Snanam and Dwajavarohanam.
