Anti-Modi parties have no agenda: Ram Madhav

Nellore: BJP general secretary Ram Madhav asked how the group of parties led by TDP can rule the country without having a proper programme whose agenda is basically 'hate-Modi' policy. He also alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu organised one-day protest in Delhi after having breakfast in Bhubaneswar and lunch in Kolkata before coming to Delhi in evening.

"Chandrababu has to first protect his Chief Minister seat instead of making assurances to the country on saving the nation. How can he save the country with anti-Modi team which has no concrete agenda," he said. Ram Madhav attended a meeting organised by BJP leaders in the city on Friday.

"AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao have been trying to give a picture that they had united entire opposition parties in the country.

But, the King (Modi) is there and there would be no use with anti-Modi team as people in the country have already decided to see Modi at the Centre with thumping majority,"the BJP leader said. AP elections are very crucial for BJP as it is going to contest independently for the first time after bifurcation, he said.

BJP had set its target of coming to power in AP by 2024. Ram Madhav alleged that the state government had failed to utilise financial assistance provided by the Centre. TDP government had failed to construct even proper road to the capital city till now, he said.

Central government has already initiated efforts for Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor, but the state government had not extended its support for the project, he said. How Arvind Kejriwal can appeal to AP people to vote for TDP as majority Telugu voters had not cast their vote to Kejriwal in Delhi, asked Ram Madhav. Local BJP leaders were present.
