Anti-ragging laws stringent: VC PVGD Prasada Reddy

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor (additional-charge) PVGD Prasada Reddy on Friday said that anti-ragging laws are stringent and the perpetrators of ragging will be dealt with an iron hand.

Addressing the gathering at the anti-ragging awareness session held at Dr Y V S Murthi Auditorium, he advised the students not to risk their future by resorting to ragging their fellow students.

However, big there were, the law will not excuse those who resort to ragging, he stated. He promised to resolve the problems of students within 48 hours if the ragging was brought to his notice.
