AP Assembly approves key bills including three capital and CRDA repeal bills
The Andhra Pradesh state legislature passed several key bills during the Andhra Pradesh budget session started on Tuesday. The assembly on Tuesday approved two amendments to the Decentralization of Development bill, CRDA repeal bill. In addition, the Legislature has also passed the Panchayati Raj Act Amendment Bill introduced by Panchayati Raj Minister Peddi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy.
Also, the assembly has approved the Local Body Elections Reform Bill, the GST Amendment Bill, the VAT Amendment Bill and the 2020 Oton Account Budget bill, Excise Amendment Bill 2020, the Prohibition Law Amendment Bill, the Higher Education Amendment Bills respectively.
MLA Kolusu Parthasarathy expressed his happiness over the amendments to the Endowment Act. He thanked YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the same. Later, the speaker of assembly has adjourned the house to Wednesday.
