AP Assembly Sessions: Deputy CM Alla Nani clarifies on Health Scheme, says the action would be taken on MEDOL company

The winter session assembly continued on Monday with the absence of Jagan Mohan Reddy in the house due to administrative meeting in the camp office. Meanwhile, there has been a discussion on the Health scheme being implemented in the state. The opposition raised doubts on the scheme, and alleged govt is wasting money without anyone being benefitted with the scheme.

Reacting to this, Deputy Chief Minister for Health Alla Nani appealed to the Opposition TDP to introspect before pointing the finger at the YCP government. He accused, the erstwhile TDP government miserably failed to keep the hospitals in good condition. The government is committed to improving the condition of hospitals throughout the state.

"The government brought more than 2000 diseases under Arogyasri.

The government is also taking post hospitalisation care of people by paying Rs 225 per day," Minister asserted. "Funds of Rs 900 crore have been allocated for the development of hospitals," Minister added.

The Minister also said that action would be taken against Medol company for indulging in the medical scandal. Earlier, the Speaker said he was happy to announce that the Delhi government congratulated the AP government for passing the Disha Act. It also the government to send a copy of the bill to them.
