AP assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram suspends TDP MLAs for disrupting the house

The same scene was repeated on the fifth day of Andhra Pradesh assembly winter sessions with suspension of TDP MLAs for protesting in the house. The opposition parties have demanded to pay the employment guarantee scheme bills and entered into the speaker podium. The speaker did not listen to them. With this, minister Perni Nani introduced a resolution in the house to suspend 10 members of the opposition TDP.

Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced that 10 members would be suspended as per the resolution. Among those suspended were Atchennaidu, Nimmala Ramanaidu, Anagani Satya Prasad, Eluru Sambasiva Rao, Jogeshwara Rao, Rama Raju, Rama Krishna Babu, Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Ashok and Buchaiah Chowdhary.

Meanwhile, members of the ruling party flagged that members of the opposition were wasting assembly time and playing dramas. Government whip Gadikota Srikanth Reddy urged TDP members to come to the discussion on issues stating that their government is ready to discuss on any issue.
