Winter sessions assembly continued for the fourth day on Thursday with the discussion on the GO 2430 pertaining media transparency. The opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu took exception to the restrictions imposed against them while protesting against the cancellation of live telecasts by some TV channels and demanded the government to take back the GO 2430.

Reacting this, finance minister Buggana recalls the restrictions pronounced by the then Speaker Yanamala Ramakrishnudu in 1999. Buggana also alleged that the TDP came with a preconceived plan to disrupt the proceedings of Assembly.

Jagan read out the GO and said he finds no flaw in the GO. "Should the government remain silent if anybody writes false news, " CM questioned.

Chandrababu Naidu said that whole media throughout the country is condemning the GO.

He demanded the govt to ask the media including Times, Hindu, The Hans India whether there is no wrong in the GO.

Later, Naidu complained the disrespect he meted from security while he was entering into the house.

Buggana recalled that the TDP government issued a series of GOs empowering the IAS officers to prosecute the editor of Sakshi.
