AP Cabinet decides to impose disqualification of candidates who violate rules in local body elections

The AP Cabinet on Wednesday has made a key proposal to hold local bodies elections by March 15. In the meanwhile, the cabinet has approved a crucial decision to take strict measures on the flooding of money and alcohol in elections. As part of this, the government is likely to cancel the candidature of the contestants who are caught with alcohol and money. It was decided that the candidate who was caught could be sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

The Cabinet has decided to cast a disqualification on the candidate who violates election regulations. The cabinet has decided to complete the entire election process within 15 days from the date of notification.

On the other hand, the cabinet has given a green signal for the State Agriculture Council for the formation of the Andhra Pradesh Non-Finance Corporation. The bill is scheduled to be introduced at the next Assembly session.
